Major Crime Squad Detectives have seized a vehicle they believe was involved in the death of a cyclist on New Year’s Eve.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Tony Henrys said police found the abandoned vehicle early this evening in a unit complex carpark in Fleming Street, The Narrows.

"The car has been secured and Forensic Detectives are currently assessing the vehicle for further evidence.

“We would like to thank the public for their support and continued interest in this investigation.”
