Northern Territory Police rearrested 17-year-old Josiah Binsaris north of Adelaide River about 9.20am.

Territory Response Group officers deployed tyre deflation devices (TDD) and deflated one of the tyres.

It was enough to eventually immobilise the vehicle and allow an arrest.

He will now be transported to Darwin.
