Major Crime detectives have charged a 23-year-old female with murder.

Detective Senior Sergeant Lee Morgan said the charges followed the death of a 21-year-old female in the community yesterday.

The female has been remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court on Monday, 19 June 2017.
