Concern for Welfare - Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police hold extreme concerns for the welfare of 48-year-old Denny Jones.

Search and Rescue Coordinator Phillip Emmett said that Police and NT Emergency Service teams were currently searching for Mr. Jones at his last known sighting, 60 kilometres north of Alice Springs.

“Mr. Jones was last seen at about 2:00am Sunday 18of June around Burt Creek Outstation, near the Stuart Highway,” he said.

“Mr Jones requires urgent medical attention and we ask that anyone who sights him to contact police.

“He is described as being of indigenous appearance, 175cm tall and weighs about 78 kilograms. At last sighting, he was wearing a white “hoody” and faded blue jeans and he wasn’t wearing any shoes.”
