Northern Territory Police have charged a 24-year-old man following an alleged sexual assault in Alice Springs in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Detective Superintendent Michael White of the Southern Investigations Division said the man allegedly attacked the woman on Bath St about 2.45am.
He was arrested on Bath St about 4pm Friday.
He has been charged with:
- Sexual intercourse without consent (x2)
- Stealing (x2)
He was remanded to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on Monday.
