Northern Territory Police have charged a 27-year-old woman with drug offences following a series of mail seizures.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer of the Organised Crime Division said that on 23 February police seized 3.5g of MDMA in a mail parcel addressed to the woman.

“Then on 28 February, 25 tabs of LSD were seized in the same fashion.

“On 2 March, police executed a warrant at a Parap address which allegedly uncovered a further 24 tabs of LSD, a small clip-seal bag containing a less than traffickable quantity of cannabis, digital scales and empty clip-seal bags.”

The woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Supply Schedule 1 – commercial quantity
  • Possess Schedule 1 – commercial quantity (x2)
  • Possess Schedule 1 – traffickable quantity
  • Possess Schedule 2 – less than traffickable quantity.

She was bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 9 March.
