Charges – Cause Serious Harm – Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 34-year-old man following an alleged stabbing in Malak on Tuesday afternoon.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Day from the Serious Crime Squad said the offender allegedly stabbed the victim, also a 34-year-old man, at a residence in Malak.

“The pair then engaged in a physical altercation, where the victim also suffered lacerations to his hands,” he said.

The offender has been charged with:

  • Unlawfully cause Serious Harm
  • Possess Carry Use Controlled Weapon

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
