Members from Strike Force Winx have charged three male youths aged 13, 14 and 15 after they escaped from a residential program in Alice Springs on Saturday.
Detective Superintendent Michael White said the three males allegedly stole a Toyota Hilux and drove into Alice Springs.
“The vehicle was recovered about 6:00am and the offenders were arrested about 7:40am, Sunday 12 March,” he said.
They were charged with:
- Unlawful entry – building
- Damage property
- Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
- Breach bail
They were remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
