Northern Territory Police have charged a 37-year-old man in relation to an assault at a Stuart Park fast food restaurant in the early hours of yesterday morning.

He was arrested yesterday evening and charged with unlawfully cause serious harm.

He will appear in Darwin Local Court today.

The victim remains in a critical condition in Royal Darwin Hospital.
