Call for Witnesses – Alice Springs

Police

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following a large disturbance in Alice Springs on the weekend.

Senior Constable Paul Parkanyi said two men were injured as a result of the incident, which occurred around 2:00am on Sunday at a restaurant on the corner of Todd Street and Stott Terrace. A 22-year-old suffered head injuries, and a 23-year-old sustained a broken arm.

“Both men were taken to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment," he said.

“Police believe there were a number of people in the vicinity at the time who may have witnessed the incident. We are particularly interested in speaking to the occupants of a white sedan that was seen leaving the restaurant car park during the disturbance.”

Police are calling for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
