Call for Witnesses – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following a disturbance in Alice Springs last night.

Detective Senior Sergeant Alan Milner said two people suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident outside a licensed venue on Gregory Terrace.

“Around 11:00pm, a black Toyota Camry sedan containing four men of Indigenous appearance was seen driving erratically outside the venue,” he said.

“The occupants of the vehicle were then allegedly involved in an altercation opposite the venue. The vehicle later struck a 27-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man.

“The vehicle also struck two parked vehicles during the incident.

“About 3:20am, the vehicle and its occupants were sighted at a service station.

“Police arrested one of the occupants shortly after, a 22-year-old male, who is assisting police with their enquiries.
