Northern Territory Police are calling for information on a stolen and potentially hostile vehicle believed to have been involved in at least two attempted armed robberies and a series of unlawful entries.

Detective Sergeant Mark Bland from Strike Force Trident said the vehicle – a red Toyota Yaris sedan, NT registration CC 23 CK – was stolen from a residence in Stuart Park overnight.

“It was believed to have been involved in the attempted armed robberies of two taxi drivers in Stuart Park and Parap and then four unlawful entries across the greater Darwin area.”

The group of up to four is believed to have unlawfully entered businesses in Fannie Bay, Parap, Bakewell and Winnellie.

“The vehicle was also believed to have been in the company of another white or grey sedan,” Sergeant Bland said.

Anyone who comes across the vehicle is asked to not approach the occupants and should contact police immediately on 131 444.
