Call for Information - Firearms Stolen - Lajamanu

Northern Territory Police are calling for information following the theft of four firearms from a residence in Lajamanu.

Senior Constable Linda Kitchen said the theft is believed to have occurred between 27 December 2016 and 19 January 2017 whilst the owners were on holidays.

“Police believe the theft was targeted given the firearms were the only items taken from the premises.”

The firearms are:

  • Mauser bolt action rifle- model 1898, serial 139 7mm
  • Mauser bolt action rifle- model 98, serial F9696 8mm
  • Winchester 22 Magnum lever action rifle- model 9422M
  • Brno 22 bolt action rifle- model 1, serial 0218

A large pelican case containing 2 Siezz scopes and a variety of firearm tools was also taken.
