Call for Information – Aggravated Robbery – Darwin CBD

Northern Territory Police are calling for information following an aggravated robbery in Darwin CBD.

Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Day said the incident occurred around 5:50pm yesterday, on the corner of Edmunds and Smith Street.

“An unknown male has entered a massage parlour and asked a staff member for money. The male has then been escorted out of the store, before returning and assaulting two female staff members.

“The man has then left the store with a small amount of money.

“As a result of the assault, one of the staff members sustained a fractured cheek bone.”

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, and of solid build, with a tattoo on one of his shoulders. At the time of the offence he was wearing a blue singlet and blue jeans.
