Northern Territory Police are investigating an attempted ram raid in the Darwin CBD early this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said three unknown males were captured on CCTV attempting to gain entry to a Smith Street premises just before 1:00am.
“The males can be seen using a stolen motor vehicle to ram the front roller door. However this was unsuccessful and they fled the area.
“Police recovered the stolen motor vehicle in The Gardens.
“Shortly after, another vehicle was reported stolen from a nearby residence. The vehicle is described as a white Nissan 370Z with NT registration NISSAN. Police are yet to establish if this theft is connected with the attempted ram raid.”
