A 13-year-old male has been charged with multiple offences allegedly committed late last year.
Superintendent Helen Braam said the youth was identified through forensic investigation of the crime scene.
“Detectives arrested the youth yesterday and he has been charged with the unlawful entry of a residence in Desert Springs in December 2015.
“A vehicle was also stolen at the time which Police recovered later on the same day of the offending.”
The youth was charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful entry
- Stealing
- Unlawful use of a motor vehicle
- Drive unlicensed
He will appear in the Alice Springs Youth Court today.
