Northern Territory Police have charged a 37-year-old female following an alleged assault on a 44-year-old male in Amoonguna.
Detective Sergeant Lewis Chown said the incident occurred on 3 February.
“The man was stabbed by the female several times, causing significant injuries.
“He was taken to the Alice Springs Hospital,” he said.
She has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Armed with offensive weapon
She also had a Domestic Violence Order served on her.
She has been bailed to appear in Alice Springs Court on the 23 February 2016.
