Police in Tennant Creek attended a single vehicle rollover on the Stuart Highway, about 18 Kilometres north of Three Ways today
Superintendent Kerry Hoskins said that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
“The male driver of the vehicle was arrested for the purpose of a blood test after returning a positive indication on the roadside breath test,” she said.
“A female passenger sustained injuries and is being transferred to the Alice Springs Hospital. She remains in a stable condition.
“A two-month-old baby was taken to the Tennant Creek Hospital for precautionary checks.
“The highway has been cleared and is open to traffic.”
Investigations into the crash are continuing.
