Police continue to search for 16-year-old Eric Ebatarinja who escaped from the Alice Springs Youth Detention Centre on Monday.

He was last sighted about 12:00pm near Larapinta Valley Camp in Araluen.

Residents are urged to be vigilant and report any sightings or suspicious activity to call Police on 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
