Members from Strike Force Vega have charged a 17-year-old male following a string of unlawful entries in Alice Springs dating back to July 2015.

Detective Sergeant Lewis Chown said Police will allege the male unlawfully entered 12 separate dwellings and stole more than $7000 worth of cash and goods.

“Forensic evidence taken from the crime scenes were analysed and were linked to the offender,” he said.

The 17-year-old male was charged with:

• Unlawful entry - Building x 10
• Unlawful entry - Dwelling x 4
• Damage to property x 13
• Stealing x 8

He is due to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court 18 July.
