Northern Territory Police are investigating a number of unlawful enteries at licensed premises overnight.

Senior Sergeant Kirk Pennuto said up to four premises were unlawfully entered in the Darwin CBD, along with a tavern in Leanyer.

“It is believed the primary target of these unlawful enteries was alcohol, with a quantity of spirits and wine stolen from each.

“Just before 1:30am police responded to an unlawful entry at a Smith Street bar. Three males were located nearby consuming alcohol allegedly taken from the premises, they are currently in custody. They are yet to be charged.

“All incidents are currently under investigation. It is unknown if any of the unlawful entries were linked.
