Northern Territory Police have charged a female and two males following a robbery at a Darwin CBD bottle shop.

Acting Senior Sergeant Michael Valladares said Police will alleged the trio entered the bottle shop just after 7:00pm on Sunday 10 July and attempted to steal a quantity of alcohol.

“A staff member has confronted the group, before being assaulted by one of the males. All three have then fled the scene with a quantity of alcohol. 

“Members of the public who came to the aid of the staff member followed the group into the city where they were arrested by Police.”

A 43-year-old female, a 43-year-old male and 47-year-old male were charged with robbery. They will appear in Darwin Local Court today.
