Members from the Serious Crime Section are currently investigating a stealing with violence offence that occurred at a residence in Moulden.

Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Board said Police were alerted to the incident around 10:15am yesterday (Tuesday 2 February 2016).

“It is alleged an unknown male entered the residence armed with a knife and threatened a female occupant before stealing her purse and fleeing the area. Police attended, however were unable to locate the offender.

“He is described as being of Indigenous appearance, 175cm tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a white top with dark shorts and a black cap.

“Police ask anyone with any information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
