Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance to locate a 23-year-old male, Dion Smythe, who absconded from a rehabilitation facility in Alice Springs last night.

Mr Smythe was last seen about 9:30pm near South Terrace.

He is described as being of Indigenous appearance, 180 cm tall and of medium/large build, with short dark hair.

Mr Smythe should not be approached. If anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact Police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
