Operation Aether – Targeting Methamphetamine

Northern Territory Police seized a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine at a residence in Palmerston last Thursday, 12 May 2016.

“Acting on information provided by members of the public, a drug search warrant was executed at a residence in Palmerston,” Drug and Organised Crime Squad Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Malogorski said.

“The yard of the property was dug up and detectives found a number of locations used to hide drugs underneath the concrete slab.

“Investigations are continuing to identify those involved and those who have been attempting to recover the items secreted at the property.”

Led by Taskforce Nemesis, Operation Aether is investigating the importation of methamphetamine into the Territory.
