Members from Strike Force Trident have charged a 20-year-old man following a series of crimes in Darwin.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said Police will allege the male was involved in the theft of a Hino truck from a Holtze business on 13 February, which was later used in a number of unlawful entries.

“The vehicle was later recovered by Police, and following forensic testing the man was arrested at a Palmerston residence yesterday.”

He was interviewed and charged with:

• Trespass (x4)
• Damage to property (x6)
• Aggravated unlawful entry – building (x3)
• Drive unlicensed (x2)
• Aggravated use of a motor vehicle (x2)
• Stealing (x5)

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
