Strike Force Trident Detectives have charged a 22-year-old male following an aggravated robbery.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said the incident occurred on Friday 26 February.

“It is alleged a male unlawfully entered a residence in Woodroffe armed with a hammer and began demanding cash from the occupant, before fleeing with a small sum.”

He was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated unlawful entry yesterday.

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on 11 May 2016.
