Strike Force Trident have charged a 22-year-old male following an aggravated robbery at a Darwin CBD service station on Daly Street.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said Police will allege the male was involved in the aggravated robbery, where an attendant was assaulted, on 24 December 2015.

“The male was sighted in Karama yesterday and attempted to flee from members before being arrested. Further checks revealed that the male was also in breach of his bail conditions after he failed to abide by his reporting requirements.”

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today charged with aggravated robbery, stealing and breach of bail.
