Northern Territory Police have charged a man following a stabbing in Yarrawonga.
Detective Acting Superintendent Mark Stringer said it is alleged that on Saturday 29 October, a confrontation occurred at an industrial shed between two men, resulting in one stabbing the other in the arm.
“Yesterday, members from the Gangs Task Force, Territory Response Group and Dog Unit executed a search warrant at that premises and seized a number of knives, a small amount of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.”
A 30-year-old man was charged with:
- Recklessly endangering serious harm
- Aggravated assault whilst armed with a weapon
- Possess methamphetamine
He will appear in Darwin local court today.
