Northern Territory Police have arrested a 29-year-old man following an alleged assault on a 23-year-old female.
Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said the incident occurred in Gillen about 2:00pm yesterday.
“The female was taken to the Alice Springs Hospital for her injuries and the man was subsequently arrested after he attempted to visit her.”
He has been charged with:
- Cause serious harm
- Contravene DVO.
- Recklessly endanger life.
The man will appear in the Alice Springs Court today.
