Northern Territory Police are investigating a house fire that occurred in Anula yesterday afternoon.

Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Board said members from the Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the fire on Kohinoor Street just after 4:00pm.

“Fire and Rescue crews managed to contain the blaze to a single room, however significant smoke damage was caused throughout the residence.

“At this time the fire is being treated as suspicious and Serious Crime Squad Detectives are currently investigating.”
