The Territory road toll now stands at nine following a single vehicle rollover on the Stuart Highway, 35 kilometres south of Pine Creek.

Police were alerted to the incident around 7:00am. Members from the Northern Traffic Section are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.

The deceased is yet to be identified.
