Fatal – Ludmilla – Update

Police

Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to last night’s hit and run in Ludmilla in which a 37-year-old man was killed.

A 25-year-old man is being questioned and charges are expected to be laid later today or tomorrow morning. A second occupant of the vehicle is assisting Police with their inquiries.

Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Henrys from Major Crime said that investigations were continuing and Police are speaking to witnesses.

“In particular we’d like to speak with a 23-year-old male by the first name of Dylan, who we believe was the third occupant of the vehicle, and we urge him to contact Police on 131 444 or to attend his local Police Station,” he said.

“2015 was a horror year on our roads with 49 deaths, and it is very disappointing that some people simply aren’t getting the message. Don’t take unnecessary risks; and if you don’t care about yourself, think about the impact your decisions can have on other people including your family and friends.”
