The Territory road toll has increased to 34 following a single vehicle crash, in which a male has died.

The crash occurred about 6.30pm this evening on the Central Arnhem Road.

Two people have been conveyed to Darwin for treatment, and the third occupant has been transported to Katherine with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Crash Detectives will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.

The road toll was 38 this time last year.
