Northern Territory Police are currently searching for a 20-year-old man, who escaped from Police custody this afternoon in Yulara.

The man is wanted in connection with serious sexual offences, and was being conveyed to the rear of a Police vehicle by officers, when he fled.

He is describe as being of indigenous appearance, of slim build and around 175cm tall.

He is considered dangerous and Police urge members of the public not to approach him, and report any sightings to Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
