Northern Territory Police investigating the death of 18-year-old male on a cattle station near Adelaide River have ruled the incident as a drowning.

Whilst the circumstances surrounding the death are still being investigated, the matter has been deemed non-suspicious.

A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
