Northern Territory Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an 18-year-old male on a private cattle station near Adelaide River.

Detective Sergeant Tony Henrys from the Major Crime Squad said the male was reported missing to Police just after 3.30am yesterday (06 March 2016).

“At 1:00pm a body was retrieved from a dam on the station.  An investigation into the exact cause of death is underway.”

An autopsy will be conducted today.
