A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a search warrant in Stuart Park.

Drug and Organised Crime Detectives searched the private residence yesterday and discovered two separate hydroponic growing areas.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said 23 cannabis plants were seized.

“Detectives also confiscated 250 grams of dried cannabis and items involved in the hydroponic growing of plants.

“The male will be charged with cultivation, possession and supply of a schedule two drug,” Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said.

The male was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court tomorrow.
