Northern Territory Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in relation to an alleged unlawful entry on 12 December.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said that the man was arrested when he attended the Police station for an unrelated matter yesterday.

“The offender allegedly stole about $45,000 worth of construction equipment from a business in Len Kittle Drive causing substantial damage to property,” he said.

He has been charged with:

• Unlawful Entry (Building)
• Stealing
• Criminal damage

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.
