Charges – Unlawful Entries – Durack

Police

Northern Territory Police have charged a 38-year-old woman in relation to a string of property offences across Palmerston early Monday morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan from Strike Force Trident said the woman allegedly entered four homes in Durack from 3am, 17 October.

“She allegedly stole several personal items, cash, and car keys,” he said.

“She was apprehended by the occupants of the fourth home she allegedly broke into.”

She was arrested and charged with:

  • Trespass (x4)
  • Stealing (x3)
  • Aggravated unlawful entry (x4)
  • Damage to property

She was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Jordan said the unlawful entries were a timely reminder to ensure homes are secure at night, or when out-of-sight of entrances.
