Northern Territory Police have charged a 30-year-old woman after she was found in possession of allegedly stolen jewellery.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident were able to confirm the jewellery – valued about $40,000 – was stolen from a home in Leanyer on 29 March 2016.

The woman was charged with:

• Receive stolen property
• Possess stolen property

She was served a Notice to Appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 16 June 2016.
