Northern Territory Police have charged a 19-year-old man in relation to a rollover at Wadeye.
Police allege the man was in control of a troop carrier carrying 11 passengers when it rolled near the Nguminhik Camp around 1:00pm on Sunday 17 April. Most occupants received minor injuries; three people were transferred to Darwin by Careflight.
The 19-year-old driver was charged with:
Drive a motor vehicle whilst unlicensed
- Drive a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner
- Drive a motor vehicle causing harm or death
- Recklessly endangering serious harm
He was bailed to appear in the Wadeye Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 19 April.
