Northern Territory Police have charged a 29-year-old woman after she was apprehended allegedly carrying a quantity of methamphetamine.
Detective Sergeant Leith Phillips said the methamphetamine had a potential street value of $12,000.
“Acting on information, the woman was searched by Police and a package containing 8.5g of methamphetamine was found in her clothing,” he said.
She was charged with:
- Possess and Supply a traffickable quantity of a schedule 1 drug (methamphetamine)
- Possess thing - administer dangerous drug
She was remanded in custody to appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today
