Northern Territory Police have charged a 26-year-old male for alleged drug offences, following the execution of a search warrant on a Tennant Creek home yesterday.

Detective Sergeant Kieron Weller said officers seized in excess of 19 ounces of cannabis, along with other drug related articles.

“Police also searched the offender’s vehicle, where they located about one ounce of cannabis in the glove box,” he said.

The man has been charged with:

• Possess Cannabis public place
• Possess Cannabis commercial quantity
• Unlawfully supply cannabis to another

He was bailed to appear in Tennant Creek Local Court on 7 June 2016.
