Drug and Organised Crime Detectives have arrested and charged a 27-year-old male with several drug related charges following a search warrant at a residence in Bellamack on Thursday, 12 May.

Detective Acting Superintendent Janelle Tonkin said Police allegedly uncovered methamphetamine, steroids, cannabis and prescription drugs during the search.

“At the conclusion of the search warrant the 27-year-old male was arrested and charged with offences relating to items seized.

“Police will continue to target and disrupt the distribution of dangerous drugs in the Northern Territory. In particular, persons associated with Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs.”

The male was charged with:

  • Possess and supply schedule one dangerous drug
  • Possess schedule two dangerous drug
  • Possess schedule eight substance

He will appear in the Darwin Local Court today.
