Northern Territory Police from the Southern Investigations Division have charged a 26-year-old male for a range of drug offences, following a random roadside drug test yesterday.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Leith Phillips said Detectives executed a search warrant at the man’s property after the offenders drug test proved positive.
“Police searched his residence and found a trafficable quantity of MDMA, a quantity of Methamphetamine, throwing knives, an implement to administer drugs, and more than $5000 cash,” he said.
The 26-year-old male charged with:
- Possess thing - administer dangerous drug
- Possess MDMA - Trafficable quantity
- Administer dangerous drug to self (x2)
- Driver with prohibited drug in blood
- Possess Methamphetamine
- Possess prohibited weapon
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
