Northern Territory Police have charged a 40-year-old man after seizing a commercial quantity of cannabis in Alice Springs.
Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said Southern Drug Investigations executed a search warrant on a property yesterday morning.
“During the search, Police seized more than 4.5 kilograms of cannabis, $4950 in cash and a quantity of MDMA,” he said.
“If sold on the streets of Alice Springs the cannabis had the potential to yield $55,000.”
The man was charged with:
- Possess cannabis - commercial quantity
- Possess MDMA
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
