Northern Territory Police have charged a 36-year-old man following a drug seizure in Alice Springs.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said members of the Southern Tactical Investigations Group executed a search warrant at a residence in Gillen about 10:15am yesterday.

“A search of the property resulted in the seizure of 1258 grams of cannabis, 45 tabs of LSD, 6.6 grams of methamphetamine, 10.2 grams of MDMA, drug paraphernalia and about $2600 cash,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley.

“If sold on the streets the seizure has the potential to yield more than $33,000.”

He was charged with:

  • Possess LSD - commercial quantity
  • Possess cannabis - commercial quantity
  • Possess MDMA - traffickable quantity
  • Possess methamphetamine - traffickable quantity
  • Possess schedule 4 substance
  • Supply MDMA
  • Supply cannabis
  • Supply methamphetamine
  • Possess tainted property
  • Administer dangerous drug to self
  • Possess thing used to administer drug

 

He was remanded to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
