Detectives from Strike Force Trident have today charged two males with more than 300 offences following damage to a series of vehicles in the early hours of Monday 30 May 2016.
Police allege three offenders aged 18, 20 and 21 entered a secure carpark complex and caused more than $30,000 worth of damage to 63 vehicles.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said the offenders were identified through CCTV vision and two were apprehended at a hotel in Darwin without incident.
The third offender was apprehended on Tuesday, 31 May 2016.
The 20 and 21-year-old have been charged with:
- Damage to Property x126
- Trespass x126
- Attempt to commit a crime x102
- Stealing x24
- Aggravated Unlawful Entry x2
The third male was charged on Tuesday with:
- Damage to Property x63
- Trespass x63
- Attempt to commit a crime x51
- Stealing x12
- Aggravated Unlawful Entry
The 18-year-old was bailed and is due to appear on 21 June 2016.
