Northern Territory Police have charged an 18-year-old male following an assault on Monday 17 October.

Officer in Charge Palmerston Police Station, Ben Williams, said the alleged incident occurred at a shopping centre in Palmerston just after 6pm.

Police will allege the male assaulted a security guard.

He was served a Notice to Appear at Darwin Local Court on 25 November.
